As a child she wrote poems, and directed the neighborhood kids in her plays. Although her first two published books happen to be children's books, she writes in many formats. To be published well and noticed by prestigious awards is an opportunity which allows her to use her voice in spreading her favorite subjects: peace, tolerance and literacy.
