The Bungoma Kenya LitWorld Egg Project for the Girls LitClub has launched! This project means a lot to the girls. Asked why they look forward to this day with such expectation, the girls could not hide their joy. They have high wishes. They hope from this project a few of their personal problems will be solved, and more girls will be able to meet their school levies.

The chicken house has ventilators and sawdust is spread evenly on the floor whenever the room is cleaned. It has a mesh wire fence around it where the chickens move freely, feeding on natural plants during the afternoons.

Like the girls, the chickens are also happy and accept kisses from their keepers. Many thanks to LitWorld for initiating this project, there are a lot of lessons to be learned from it.
